(Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi–Akinseye has expressed profound appreciation to the leadership, stakeholders, delegates, and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following her emergence as the party’s candidate for the Ibadan Northeast/Southeast Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Monday, Dr. Adekanmbi–Akinseye described her emergence as a reflection of the party’s commitment to unity, internal democracy, and inclusive leadership.

Dr. Adekanmbi–Akinseye noted that the support and encouragement received from party leaders, women groups, youths, and grassroots mobilisers across Ibadan Northeast and Southeast remain a strong motivation toward purposeful representation and people-oriented service.

The statement further called on all party members and supporters to remain united and committed as the party prepares for victory in the 2027 general elections.
