The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Musibau Adesina Sanusi (SHABA) has congratulated all the six newly crowned monarchs from Ona-Ara LGA today September 1st, 2023.
Just today, in a new elevation round of the ancient “Baales” to Obaship status, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Moshood Olalekan Balogun elevated six of Ona-Ara monarchs, crowned and installed them as kings, alongside their contemporaries from other parts of Ibadan.
While addressing the press, the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon Sanusi Shaba who was present at the event today congratulated the six newly crowned Ona-Ara obas, appraising their elevation as a development that will herald greater impacts from traditional rulers on society.
“It is my believe that all our royal highnesses will give maximum support to this present administration for effective delivery of good governance to the masses as promised by His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde”.
Hon Shaba equally commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the Olubadan of Ibadanland for giving the elevation of the monarchs a good thought. “This is one of the most well thought-out move in our socio-cultural history”, he stated.
The six Royal Highnesses that are crowned as Obas from Ona-Ara LGA include Oba Adebowale Kamorudeen Adeyemi, JP (Oniladuntan of Laduntan) and Oba Mudasiru Musa (Alararo of Araro). Other Obas from this area are Oba Nureni Yusuf Adegbenro (Alajia of Ajia Moja Opo), Oba Muili Mosaderin (Ololosunde of Olosunde), Oba Yekini Obisesan (Alakanran of Akanran), and Oba Richard Adesokan Olunloyo (Ololunloyo of Olunloyo).
