Maulud: ALOMA Celebrates Muslims, Preaches Peace, Unity and Prophet Muhammad’s Timeless Values
Hon. Afolabi Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as ALOMA, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the constituency, Oyo State and Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Maulud Nabiyu.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, ALOMA described the Maulud celebration as a timely opportunity for Muslims and Nigerians at large to draw inspiration from the exemplary life and enduring teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He urged Muslim faithful to allow the Prophet’s timeless virtues of peace, compassion, justice, humility and love for humanity to guide their relationships and collective efforts towards building a more united and harmonious society.
ALOMA stressed that at a time when unity, understanding and hope remain vital to national progress, Nigerians must embrace the values that promote peaceful coexistence and put the common good above personal differences.
