BASA Felicitates Muslims on Maulud Nabiyu, Urges Reflection on Prophet Muhammad’s Exemplary Life
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi–Aliyu, popularly known as BASA, has felicitated Muslims across the local governments in Oyo South, Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Nabiyu celebration.
BASA, in a goodwill message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, extended warm greetings and best wishes to Muslim faithful, urging them to use the occasion to reflect on the exemplary life, teachings and virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his messages of peace, compassion, justice, humility and love for humanity.
She called on Muslims to continue to uphold these values in their daily lives while promoting peaceful coexistence, unity and mutual understanding among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
The PDP senatorial candidate also prayed for continued peace, progress and prosperity across Oyo State and Nigeria, while wishing Muslim faithful a joyous and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration.
