The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has announced plans to launch a Business Incubation Initiative aimed at helping graduates of the Skill-Up Artisans Programme (SUPA) establish, manage, and grow sustainable businesses across Nigeria. Egalitarian Voice
The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between vocational skills acquisition and entrepreneurship by providing artisans with the business knowledge, mentorship, support systems, and resources needed to transform their skills into profitable enterprises.
What the ITF Business Incubation Initiative Offers
According to the ITF, beneficiaries of the programme will receive comprehensive entrepreneurship and business management training designed to improve their ability to start and successfully run businesses.
Participants will also undergo the internationally recognized Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) training programme, which equips entrepreneurs with practical business development and management skills.
