JUST IN: APC Candidate Senator Okpebholo Wins 2024 Edo Governorship Election

Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged as the winner of the closely fought Edo State governorship election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) state Chairman make the declaration at the collation center in Benin City on Sunday 22nd September, 2024 at about 21:25hours.

As monitored by Egalitarian Voice, APC candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo as the total votes of 291,667, PDP Candidate, Asue Ighodalo came second with 247,274 votes while Labour Party polled 22,763 votes.
