Oyo APC Endorses SHARAFITE MOVEMENT, Backs Royal Umbrella’s Grassroot Mobilization Agenda for the Re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC Governorship Candidate, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA)
The Founder of the SHARAFITE Movement, Hon. Abayomi Olajide, popularly known as “Royal Umbrella,” today led members of the movement on a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), where they received a warm welcome from the State Chairman, His Excellency, Dr. Moses Adeyemo Alake, and other members of the State Executive.
During the visit, Hon. Abayomi Olajide formally introduced the SHARAFITE Movement to the party leadership as a broad-based support group established to mobilise support for the emergence and election of Senator Sharafadeen Alli as the Executive Governor of Oyo State in 2027.

Royal Umbrella explained that the movement has established a strong grassroots presence across the 33 Local Government Areas and 351 wards of Oyo State, with a clear commitment to grassroots mobilisation, political awareness and support for the APC.
He further stated that the SHARAFITE Movement is committed to the success of the APC and intends to mobilise support for all APC candidates, from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national level to candidates contesting for the Senate, House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly.
According to him, the movement believes that a united and well-organised grassroots structure remains critical to the success of the APC in the forthcoming elections.
In his response, the Oyo State APC Chairman, His Excellency, Dr. Moses Adeyemo Alake, commended Hon. Abayomi Olajide for his commitment, loyalty and visible contribution to the party despite the relatively short period since his arrival in the APC.
The State Chairman assured Royal Umbrella and members of the movement that the party leadership would continue to recognise their contributions and would not hesitate to carry them along in the party’s activities and engagements.
A major highlight of the visit was the official endorsement of the SHARAFITE Movement by the Oyo State APC Chairman as one of the recognised support groups within the Oyo State APC structure.
Hon. Abayomi Olajide and members of his team were subsequently introduced to the 33 APC Local Government Chairmen who were present at the meeting, further underscoring the importance attached to the movement’s grassroots mobilisation agenda.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both the SHARAFITE Movement and the Oyo State APC leadership expressing their commitment to strengthening unity, grassroots mobilisation and the collective success of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
