2023 Edition: Ibadan Media Outfit Set To Partner With The Organizer Of ‘ÀMÀLÀ FESTIVALS’

One of the Fast-rising digital media company Egalitarian Voice Media( ), a news, documentary and entertainment service provider, based in Ibadan, is set to partner the organizer of AMALA FESTIVAL in the coming edition of the programme schedule to hold on November 25th, 2023 in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to the CEO/MD of Egalitarian Voice Media, Mr. Segun O. AKINLABI, the informative webpage seeks to satisfy its teeming page visitors/news readers with latest updates about what the second edition of ÀMÀLÀ FESTIVAL in the city of Ibadan is all about. According to ÀMÀLÀ FESTIVAL chairman, Aare Samuel Adeniji, the event tagged ÀMÀLÀ FESTIVAL was first showcased in the city of Ibadan last year on the 4th of November, 2022 at Trans Amusement Park, Ibadan featuring alot of cultural game, food, drama and impactful playlets among others.

It was here d term abula, was patented & derived to mean d mixture of gbegiri ati ewedu.

It was Ibadan people who first people began to eat Amala commercially & from there its fame beginning to expand to wherever Ibadan people went until Amala became “Ari gbetomi”.

It’s worthy of note too that, the first Amala joint was established in Ibadan around Oja’ba axis around 1900 and today, Amala joints in Yorubaland is a multimillion business ventures and has a sizeable workforce that out numbered that of Mr. Biggs, KFC and Chicken republic put together.

So, anytime you are enjoying ur Amala ati abula pelu ponmo ati nkannu, in any Amala joint in Yorubaland, don’t forget those unnamed heros & heroines who discovered this delicacy that made us proud.
