A FUTURE STILL BUILDING
Today marks two years since I formally assumed office as Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Saki East LG. I give thanks to Almighty God for bringing us this far, and I remain grateful to the National and State leadership of the NYC for trusting me with this opportunity to serve.
As we mark this milestone, my team and I reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the potential of the young people of Saki East LG, driven always by positivity and purpose.
This year’s Pan Youth Convergence in Saki East will be a different story entirely, and it will be one for the history books. Last year, we hosted the maiden edition at Ogbooro, a first of its kind for our LG, laying a path and a foundation for the future of our young people. This year, we pick up the pen from there, writing a new chapter that moves us beyond mere conversation into something built to last.
There are challenges along the way, but by God’s grace, we’re turning our diversity into our advantage, using what makes us different to build something sustainable.
Dear Youths of Saki East, as we approach the 2027 general election, your vote matters, because your vote can make your life a little better or a little worse.
But I’ll be honest with you: politics is not going to solve all your problems. Poverty will still exist whether Tinubu, Peter Obi, or Atiku wins, whoever your favorite may be, because it’s a hard problem.
Poverty, corruption, and the many challenges facing Nigeria won’t disappear based on one vote or one administration. Those things don’t stop overnight. The way you make things better is by making things better a little at a time, and over time, those little differences add up to something big.
So I extend my hand to the youths of Saki East: let’s join hands and write a brighter future together.
