….Members Appraised Party Leaders For Rightful Decisions
Normalcy has returned to political activities in ward seven of Ibadan North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) political activities. This is sequence to the wise decision of ‘step aside order’ slammed by Ibadan North PDP on ward 7 exco members alledged of IMPROPRIETY, ABUSE OF OFFICE, MISCONDUCTS AND OTHERS.
The step aside order, put to rest, the lingering crisis in ward 7 which started in 2022, but first broke to chaos in January 2023, and thereafter took a serious dimensions in April 2023 with various petitions to party local, state secretariats, and party leaders.
In addition to this, a high level peaceful protest calling for dissolution of Emmanuel Tope Akerele led ward 7 exco was carried out at Ibadan North PDP office, and Ibadan North local government secretariat by the aggrieved party members of ward 7. The quick response of Ibadan North PDP local executive under the watch of prince Seun Adelore, and party leaders to calm down the aggrieved ward members that the ward exco should step aside and for the local government executive members that represents ward 7 to take charge of duties of the ward for now has finally calmed the storm which would have capsized the boat of the ward.

According to reports, the ward meeting held after the step aside order on Thursday 28th April, it was recorded that over 115 members attended the meeting. Although, the last meeting experienced few members due to the heavy rain downpoured on meeting day but party activities as backed to normal in the ward. PDP members in the local government appreciate the decision of the party leaders by removing an OWO TOWN(Ondo State) base man as their ward Chairman and his corrupted exco members for peace to reign.

All the PDP ward members from Ibadan North local government commended Prince Seun Adelore, Ibadan North PDP chairman, Comrade Mustapha (Ibada North PDP vice chairman), local executive members, party leaders for their prompt and good intervention that resolved ward 7 crisis. They also applauded Ibadan North Director of DSS, Mr Oyinlola for his professional assistance that made peace to reign in ward 7.

The members make demand that the ward executive which had been made to step aside should never come back to the podium again for peace to continue reigning in the local government.
