Oyo South Senatorial Aspirant and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Hon. Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), has felicitated the Oyo State PDP Women Leader, Alhaja Latifa Lateef, and the Oyo State PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Akeem Adeleke, on the occasion of their birthdays, describing them as pillars of the party’s grassroots structure.
In a congratulatory statement released in Ibadan on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, BASA commended the two leaders for their dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to strengthening the PDP in Oyo State.
“The State Women Leader and the State Youth Leader represent the heart and energy of our party. Their selfless service, mobilization drive, and unity of purpose have kept the PDP strong and visible across all zones of Oyo State,” BASA said.
She noted that Alhaja Lateef has consistently championed gender inclusion and empowerment, giving women a stronger voice in party affairs and governance. She also praised Hon. Adeleke for mobilizing young people and creating a platform for their active participation in politics and policy discussions.
“Leadership is about impact, and both of them have shown that through action, accessibility, and sacrifice. They are good examples of what party leadership should be at the grassroots level,” she added.
BASA prayed for long life, good health, and divine wisdom for the celebrants, urging them to remain steadfast in their service to the party and the people of Oyo State.
