The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has reportedly announced Bimbo Adekanmbi as his preferred successor ahead of the 2027 governorship race in Oyo State.
According to information gathered by Egalitarian Voice, the announcement was made on Wednesday evening during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting attended by prominent political leaders and party faithful.
Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, a former Commissioner for Finance under the administration of late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, is widely regarded as an experienced technocrat with strong administrative and financial management credentials.
