“Our Life is Under Threat” — Egbeda Councillors Speak Out (PHOTOS)
Egbeda local government councillors has appeal to His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE to save there soul over the leadership tussle in the legislative arm of the council.
It was gather by this news outfit that on the 1st Of August 2023, suspected Men of the PMS attacked the Council Secretariat looking for all members of Egbeda Parliament Councilors to attack. They were not fewer than nineteen hefty men led by a Popular Union Member known as Timothy OloriOso the PMS Manager Egbeda LG.
This happened after the Egbeda Parliament suspended it’s Erstwhile Leader of the House, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple over gross misconduct and abuse of power.

Two Honorable members were attacked same day. Hon Kolawole Arowolo representing ward 9 of Egbeda was attacked at the council Secretariat and his vehicle was vandalized and Vital documents were taken away while Hon. Kolawole Arowolo ran for safety.
Same day, Hon Kolapo Oladimeji known as Planner, Councilor representing ward 7 was also attacked on his way home by same Identity of the PMS led by Timothy Olori Oso of Egbeda, He was brutalized and left with much scars on his face and body.
It was gathered that those Men of the PMS said they were looking for all 10 Councilors that effect the impeachment of the House Leader. They said they are going to deal with all the Ward Councilors in Egbeda LG.
The councillors alleged that Hon. Oladebo Simple is becoming a monster and all his actions can’t be alone without backing of some devilish agents people in the localgovernment.
Continuing , the councillors urge the leadership of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and law enforcement agencies to come to their aid by looking into the situation before it gets worse.

Recall that, Hon Oladebo Simple had just lost his return ticket to another party faithful who will represent Ward 10 of the LGA come 2024 local government election in the state and he as been removed as the Leader of the house by the Honourable Councilors.
