Only God Can Comfort Davido, Chioma – Buhari’s Aide On Ifeanyi’s Death

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has expressed sadness over the sad death of Ifeanyi, son of popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke aka Davido, and his girlfriend, Chioma.

Onochie sent a comforting message to the family on Twitter.

She described the loss of Ifeanyi as a painful experience.

In a tweet, she wrote: “Dear @davido and Chioma, Losing a child is the most painful experience in life. Only God can beam his comforting light at the pains you & your families are enduring at this difficult time.

“I can’t say I understand it all. But my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.”

Several media platforms have reported that the DMW boss and Chioma were away from the house when the three-year-old drowned in their pool.

The incident happened at Davido’s residence in Banana Island on Monday.

It was said that the boy was rushed to a hospital at Lekki where he was pronounced dead.

The development has been trending on all social media platforms since 12am Tuesday morning.

It was learnt that those who were at Davido’s house when the incident happened have been arrested.

However, Davido and Chioma are yet to release any official statement regarding their son’s death.
