The Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has felicitated with the Mogaji of Ifatayo-Alawode Compound of Ibadanland and President of the Yoruba Youth Council, Chief Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Chief Sanusi, in a congratulatory message, described Mogaji Alawode as a passionate youth leader, great mobiliser and committed Yoruba son whose dedication to youth development, community service and the progress of Yorubaland continues to make a positive impact.
He noted that true leadership is not defined by titles alone, but by the lives touched, people inspired and communities positively influenced through selfless service.
According to him, Mogaji Alawode has demonstrated these qualities through his commitment to the youth, his loyalty to his people and his unwavering belief in the potential of young Nigerians, particularly Yoruba youths.
“Your journey has been one of service, brotherhood, sacrifice and an unwavering belief in the potential of our young people. You have carried many along, given voices to those who needed to be heard, and remained steadfast in the cause of unity and advancement.
“On this special day, I pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen you, enlarge your coast and grant you wisdom beyond your years. May every seed of kindness and service you have planted return to you in abundant blessings.
“May your new age bring peace to your heart, honour to your name, prosperity to your household and greater opportunities to serve humanity,” Chief Sanusi said.
The Okanlomo Oodua further prayed that the years ahead would bring the fulfilment of Mogaji Alawode’s aspirations, while granting him the opportunity to witness the fruits of his contributions to youth development, community building and the advancement of Yorubaland.
He expressed confidence that Mogaji Alawode would continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth and unity of Yoruba youths and remain a voice for responsible leadership and community development.
