The Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities has expressed profound appreciation to the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, for sponsoring the renovation of a hostel at the Moniya Rehabilitation Centre, describing the intervention as another demonstration of his commitment to humanitarian service and the welfare of vulnerable members of society.
The commendation was contained in an appreciation letter signed by the Director General of the agency, Barrister Ayodele Adekanmbi, who lauded Chief Sanusi’s enduring generosity and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of persons with disabilities across Oyo State.
Adekanmbi noted that the renovation of the hostel would provide a more conducive environment for residents of the rehabilitation centre, adding that the project reflects Chief Sanusi’s passion for promoting dignity, inclusion and better living conditions for persons with disabilities.
According to him, the intervention goes beyond a physical renovation, as it represents a lasting investment in hope and the restoration of lives, while reaffirming the importance of public spirited individuals partnering with government institutions to support vulnerable groups.

He added, “Your gracious sponsorship of the renovation of a hostel at the Moniya Rehabilitation Centre is more than an act of kindness; it is a lasting investment in dignity, hope and the restoration of lives. Through your benevolence, compassion has found expression, and countless hearts have been reminded that true greatness is measured by the lives it uplifts.”
The Director General further commended Chief Sanusi for his consistent support for humanitarian causes, describing him as a beacon of hope whose interventions continue to make meaningful impacts on the lives of vulnerable people across the state.
