BY-ELECTION: Why Hon. Olabomi is Most Competent, Qualified to Represent Akoko North East/West Fed. Constituency
The Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) Ondo Chapter has said Honorable Afolami Olabomi, a PDP Chieftain is the most qualified candidate to represent the Akoko North East/ West federal constituency of Ondo State at the Green Chambers in Abuja.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to conduct bye-election in the federal constituency within 90 days following the appointment of Bunmi Tunji-Ojo as a Minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The leader of the group and campaign DG of Hon. Afolami Olabomi, Hon, Architect Tunde Obaude in a statement in Akure said Olabomi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has all it takes to give good representation at the House of Representatives in Abuja.
He said his track records and credentials are intimidating enough to earn him victory at the poll whenever INEC is ready to conduct the election.
“Hon. Olabomi remains a personality who possesses the competence, experience, character, the qualifications, the leadership skills and popularity among the constituents to aspire to any leadership positions.”
“He has been in the US for 20 years and has seen the way politics is being practiced in the western part of the world. This will propel his to give good representation.”
“Aside his intimidating credentials, Hon. Olabomi has contributed immensely to the growth of the PDP in the state especially in Akoko North East/West federal constituency.
“I have the conviction that Hon. Olabomi will overwhelmingly win any election in the constituency at any time. We just need to come together to support him”Hon. Obaude called on stakeholders to close ranks and ensure his victory at the election.
Olabomi, a trained banker who practiced in the banking industry for over a decade in Nigeria and New York, United States. He’s also a graduate of Community Health and Human Services from Empire State College, New York.
