The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), has congratulated Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on his appointment and swearing-in as Nigeria’s new Minister of Power.
BASA described Tegbe’s appointment as a recognition of competence, experience, and dedication to national development, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of the nation’s power sector.
Mogaji Tegbe was officially sworn in on Monday during a ceremony held at the State House, Abuja, in the presence of top government officials and dignitaries.
According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the appointment followed the resignation of the former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

BASA wished the new minister a successful tenure, urging him to deploy his wealth of experience to address the challenges facing the electricity sector and improve power supply for Nigerians.
She also expressed optimism that his leadership would bring renewed innovation, efficiency, and sustainable reforms capable of driving economic growth and improving the living standards of citizens across the country.
