AKIN OOSA Congratulates Makinde, Wife on Prestigious Aare Soludero, Yeye Soludero Chieftaincy Titles

The immediate past Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and the Babalaje of Irepodun, Ogbere Oriyangi Community in Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Adegboyega Akinlolu James, popularly known as AKIN OOSA, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Soludero and Yeye Soludero, respectively.

The distinguished titles were conferred on the Governor and the First Lady by the Ibarapa Traditional Council at the palace of the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adedayo Adeagbola.
In a congratulatory message signed by AKIN OOSA and made available to Egalitarian Voice, he described the conferment as a well-deserved and highly significant honour, noting that the titles represent recognition of the Governor and his wife’s immense contributions to peace, progress and development in Oyo State.

He noted that chieftaincy titles in Yoruba culture are more than ceremonial distinctions, stressing that they represent the appreciation, acceptance and confidence of the people and traditional institutions in the character and contributions of those being honoured.

According to AKIN OOSA, the conferment of the Aare Soludero title on Governor Makinde and the Yeye Soludero title on the First Lady is a clear demonstration of the respect, goodwill and admiration enjoyed by the Makinde family among the people and traditional institutions of Ibarapa Land. He prayed for continued wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the couple as they continue to contribute to the progress and prosperity of Oyo State.
