NIGERIAN YOUTH CONGRESS, OYO STATE CHAPTER, WELCOMES SEPTEMBER WITH HOPE FOR A BETTER OYO STATE
The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, has welcomed the people of Oyo State into the new month of September with a message of hope, optimism and renewed commitment towards building a better society.
In a press statement signed by the Oyo State Chairman of the organization, Comrade Adeyemi Olagbenro (LEGACY), on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Ibadan, the youth leader charged young people and residents of the state to remain optimistic despite the challenges confronting the nation.
Comrade Olagbenro encouraged everyone, particularly the youths, not to lose hope but to remain steadfast, focused and committed to the collective aspiration for a greater and more prosperous Oyo State.
According to him, every new month presents another opportunity for individuals and communities to reflect, renew their determination and work towards achieving their dreams and aspirations.
He urged residents to embrace unity, peace and positive engagement, stressing that the future of Oyo State depends greatly on the collective efforts and contributions of its people, especially the youth.
The NYC Chairman also called on young people across the state to channel their energy, talents and ideas towards productive ventures and participate actively in initiatives that promote development and good governance.
“As we begin this new month, we must remain hopeful and refuse to surrender to despair. Better days are ahead, and together, we can build the Oyo State of our dreams,” he said.
The Nigerian Youth Congress, Oyo State Chapter, therefore, wishes all residents of Oyo State a peaceful, productive and prosperous month of September.
