Hon. Bolanle Animat Sarumi, widely known as BASA, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his unanimous nomination as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland by the respected Olubadan-in-Council.
In her message, BASA hailed the nomination as a well-deserved and historic honour, describing Oba Ladoja as a symbol of statesmanship, wisdom, and enduring commitment to the development of Ibadanland.
“This is not just a nomination; it is a reaffirmation of leadership rooted in legacy, service, and deep connection with the people,” she noted.
BASA expressed optimism that the former governor’s wealth of experience, royal lineage, and love for Ibadan will usher in a reign marked by peace, unity, cultural preservation, and sustainable development. She further commended the Olubadan-in-Council for the unanimous decision, calling it a testament to unity and shared vision within the traditional institution.
