The PDP candidate for Ona-Ara local government in the coming 2024 Local Government Election in Oyo State, Hon Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS has on Tuesday bagged a National award under the algae of the RESCUE COMPLIMENTARY SUPPORT CORPS for Outstanding Service To Youth Development And Humanitarian Services.
While making the award presentation in Ibadan, the state Commandant of RESCUE Corps, Dr. Bunmi Otunuga disclosed that Hon Dr. Kolapo Temitope’s recognition is based on his role in giving direction to the younger generation and being an inspiration to the youth and his commitment to the development of the communities.
“Your impact in the community service, advancement of humanity, and peace is an encouragement to the younger generation. Your social activities have brought to your emergency as the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2024 local government election.
While reacting to the award, Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS encouraged RESCUE Complimentary Support Corps to be resilient, focused, and hungry in achieving greater heights.
“Be rest assured of a better tomorrow from the government like that of Nigerian Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), they also started then as a volunteer engaged in community service before it later metamorphosed into adoption by the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a registered security outfit.
“You people have dedicated your time towards this agenda, and then, we cannot speak less of you, other than to support and encourage you all”.
