The Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide (YYCW) has joined well-wishers across Yorubaland and beyond to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Soun of Ogbomosho, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
In a statement signed by the National President of YYCW, Aare Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, and made available to newsmen through the National Publicity Secretary, Ogbeni Ajibode Abdulkabir, the council lauded the monarch for his visionary leadership and transformative developmental strides within a short period on the throne of his forefathers.
According to the statement, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye’s reign has been marked by impactful initiatives, particularly his youth-focused empowerment programs, which the council described as a “strategic tool for community development and socio-economic advancement in Ogbomosho land.”

The statement reads in part: “On this special occasion, we celebrate a monarch whose passion for progress and commitment to the youth remain exemplary. His Imperial Majesty has demonstrated that traditional leadership can drive modernization, inclusivity, and economic growth.”
