Video: Rep Member Claims Tinubu Increased Constituency Project Allocations, Says Reps Now Get at Least ₦1bn

Hon. Wole Oke, a member of the National Assembly representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, has claimed that constituency project allocations for federal lawmakers have increased significantly under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking on constituency projects, Oke claimed that no member of the House of Representatives currently has a constituency project allocation below ₦1 billion, while no Senator has an allocation below ₦2 billion.

According to the lawmaker, constituency project allocations for members representing Osun State were previously below ₦200 million. He attributed the reported increase to President Tinubu, saying the President “in his wisdom, increased the allocation for constituency projects for Honourable Members.”

Oke said: “There is no Honourable Member in Nigeria today who has a constituency project of less than ₦1 billion. Quote me anywhere.
