Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, surprised many Nigerians on Wednesday when he join the presidential race as he obtained his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the Presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress(APC) at the party Secretariat, Abuja.
Recent updates made available to Egalitarianvoice media affirmed a sum of N 100m for the purchased of APC nomination and EOI form by the Minister Of Education.
A source stated that, the Minister of State Education forms was sponsored by a group project Nigerians.
According to article 84(12) of the recently signed Electoral Act 2022, Buhari’s ministers vying for Electoral offices are required to resign from their current positions before the APC primary elections holding from May 30 to June 1, 2022.
Nwajiuba is one for the three serving ministers that have declared ambition to run for Presidency come 2023, the others being Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi.and Labour Minister, Chris Ngige.
