Egalitarian Voice Media reports that Chief Benedict Akika an ally of Oyo State Governor, Makinde has been reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday by unknown gunmen.
According to an update sighted on Westerndailynews Chief Benedict Akika, a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party was said to be kidnapped at his resident in Idi-Ape along Olorunda Aba.
An unconfirmed news also alleged that one person was killed during the operation of the kidnappers.
Egalitarian Voice contacted one of Chief Akika loyalist and he confirmed that the incident was true.
