Ona-Ara L.G First Lady Empowers Widows
The Wife of the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Alhaja Sanusi Dasola today empowers some widows across the eleven wards in Ona-Ara LGA.
The cash empowerment, according to the first lady, was a gesture towards relieving some of the burdens of these widow.The first lady urged the widows to continue to pray and support the present administration in Oyo State and Ona-Ara LGA, most especially Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife, Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde. And Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina and herself.
While speaking with EGALITARIAN VOICE MEDIA, Alhaja Sanusi appreciates His Excellency, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and his wife, and also her husband,Hon. Sanusi for the support and approval of the program.
She also appreciates Head of Local Government Administration,HLGA, Mrs Oyeronke Idowu and the Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs Adekunle, the Director of Education and Social Services Mr Alade S.O, Information officer,Mrs Kafayat Olagunju, management staff and desk officers.
She urged the beneficiaries to use the gesture wisely.
She promised to extend the gesture to other widows, as the exercise will be a continuous one. She made it known that this one will be the first phase, as second phase will soon come up.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Adeyemi Sikirat who spoke on behalf of others, appreciates Ona-Ara local government, wife of the Executive Chairman and her husband for the gesture, praying that God Almighty will continue to be with them and answers their prayers. She pray for success of the present administration in the state and Ona-Ara LGA.
