Moyosoreoluwa Eldreez (Ijoba Authority MOE) Declares Interest to Run for Ibadan North East LG Chairman under APM
A chieftain of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez (MOE), has officially declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship of Ibadan North East Local Government under the platform of the party ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State.
In a letter dated July 29, 2026, and addressed to the APM Chairman in Ibadan North East Local Government through the Ward 4 Chairman, Eldreez said his aspiration is driven by a commitment to grassroots development, quality leadership, and improved service delivery. He noted that his years of involvement in grassroots mobilisation, youth development, political engagement, media advocacy, and community service have prepared him for the responsibility of leading the council.
The chairmanship aspirant, a graduate of Social Work from the University of Ibadan with a Diploma in Statistics, pledged to provide transparent, accountable and people-oriented governance if elected. According to him, his administration would prioritise quality education, accessible primary healthcare, environmental sanitation, security, youth and women empowerment, infrastructure development, digital governance and economic growth across all wards of the local government.
Eldreez also reaffirmed his loyalty to the Allied People’s Movement, promising to uphold the party’s constitution and work closely with leaders, stakeholders and members to secure victory for the APM while promoting sustainable development in Ibadan North East Local Government.
He appealed to the party leadership to consider his application favourably and grant him the opportunity to emerge as the APM flag bearer, assuring members of his integrity, competence and unwavering dedication to the progress of the party and the development of the local government.
