The former House of Representatives Majority Leader, Rt. Hon Mulikat Akande Adeola, who is also the Senatorial Candidate of Social Democratic Party in the Oyo North Senatorial district has urged the people Oyo state to embrace peace and spirit of sportsmanship on their campaign events.
In her short message to all politicians in the state made available to the press in Ogbomosho through her media Aide Hon Afeez Opeyemi (Omo Leader) Hon Mulikat says “for someone that is preaching a better society, brighter future for the country, there is no sense in engaging in violence, thuggery and all forms of evil ways of campaign because one wants to win an Election.
Why do you have to engage in killing your opponents or followers? Why do you have to destroy the oppositions campaign vehicles, bill-boards or Posters because you want to win an Election? It is so barbaric, animalistic and uncalled for to engage in such acts”
“We must imbibe Peace, we must let our integrity, dignity and antecedents speak in our campaign engagements.
Let our manifestoes, good names and what we have done in the past or what we intend to do speak for us. May the Lord Almighty protect us and all of our followers from evils.
