As part of his efforts in delivering dividends of democracy as well as fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises, the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Akanran, Ibadan, Oyo State. Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina popularly known as SHABA today Thursday 3rd of November,2022; commissioned the newly rehabilitated six units of toilet facilities and newly drilled borehole water facilities done by his administration. According to the market leaders and the people of the communities, the project was done uncompleted since 2011, but abandoned and locked up and never put to use for once, which resulted into deplorable condition.
In his speech, Hon. SHABA appreciates HRH Oba Obisesan Mudasiru, the Alararo of Araromi Aperin, Babaloja of Kajola Market, Chief Muraina Gbedeogun, all the market committee members, the market men and women, and other stakeholders for their unflinching support to his administration and that of Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
He said he is happy today seen the projects being commissioned and put to use today, he stated further that when he first visited the Kajola Market on assumption of office as Executive Chairman, he was not happy with the deplorable condition of the facilities which prompted his immediate approval for rehabilitation and now successfully completed, he urged the market leaders to choose representative that will be in charge of the toilet and borehole water facilities.
Hon. Sanusi Musibau while delivering his speech disclosed that, on his arrival to the venue today, he consulted with the Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA and other executive members on the need to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities after commissioning.
He then approved A BRAND NEW BIG GENERATING SET for powering the borehole water facilities and ask the market leaders to come to the council secretariat by next week for the collection.

He further enjoined the market men and women and the entire communities to reciprocate the government gesture by ensuring that they vote enmass for the re-election of Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming general election.
In his response, the Babaloja of Kajola Market, Chief Muraina Gbedeogun on behalf of the entire market men and women and community members appreciates the Executive Chairman and his executive members for the laudable gesture, saying they will forever be grateful to Ona-Ara LGA and Hon. SHABA, because his people had been suffering of portable water supply and toilet facilities and the market together with the community had never had it so good under the previous administration.

Mufutau Ogunremi, former council boss, and the present state vice chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, also the PDP Chairman of Ona-Ara LGA,Hon. M.I Bakare, represented by the Organizing Secretary, Mr Olatunde Olufemi, also Secretary to the local government, Hon. Windapo Oluwole, Chief of Staff, Hon. Engr. Ayo Falana, the PDP local government youth leader,Hon. Adekola Adeniran, Supervisory Councillor for Works, Hon. Nuru Badmus, and other Supervisory Councillors, as well as other political appointees, the Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA, Mrs Oyeronke Idowu, Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs Adekunle, and other top government functionaries.
