One of the major contender in the coming 2024 Oyo State Local Government Election aspiring for the post of Ward 1 Councillor in Ibadan South-West LGA, Hon Alh. Saheed Olayinka Sanusi popularly known as Hadj Saheed as appeals to His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde and party leaders to intervene on the Imposition of candidate that has always happened in the ward so far.
His appealing message reads thus:
Dear Leaders of our Great Party PDP..
I am Alh. Saheed Olayinka Sanusi political addressed as Hadj Saheed, one of Councillorsip Aspirant in Ward 1,Ibadan South West Local Government.
-I am using this medium to call the attention of our Leaders to an impending doom that might happen to the Party in the ward and the Local Government at Large for the reason of not following the normal procedure of nominating a Candidate in the forthcoming Election.
-It has been a common occurrence in ward 1,Ibadan South West Local Government that every democratic events is disrupted,the case study of Last Local Government Election & Appointments of other Allocated offices which was trickly taking away.

-As earlier directed by the Local Government Leaders at the Molete Aspirant’s meeting on Monday 10th July,2023 that the ward Leaders should converge to screen the aspirants and have a right Candidate selected was not allowed to be completed in the Ward as during the process was the usual gimmicks of “GOVERNOR HAS SENT TO INFORM” the Leaders in the ward that the current Councilor should be returned. A man that cannot point out to any project since he has be forcefully imposed as Councillor of the ward then.
I believe the People’s Governor can’t send such directive, it’s the work of some dubious people in Ward 1 of Ibadan South west Local Government. Why only Ward 1? This will not be allowed this time.
