Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that civil servants from level 1-14 would begin to work three days a week as part of measures to ease the economic challenges on residents.

He spoke during a live media chat, ‘Sanwo Speaks’, to intimate residents on steps being taken to reduce the economic burden on Lagosians.

Workers in the teaching sector will however mantain the five days a week work schedule, but government will ensure additional transport support for them.

The governor also announced a 25 per cent rebate on fares for government-owned transport schemes in Lagos State.
