The Director General, Governor Seyi Makinde Campaign Re-election Bid in Egbeda Local Government , Hon. Ifeoluwa Akande has delivered Polling Units 13, Ward 11, EGBEDA Local Government, for The People’s Democratic Party Oyo Central Senatorial and EGBEDA/ONA ARA Rep candidates.
Hon Akande speaking after the announcement of the election results says;
“This is not the first time he will win votes for his party candidates at his polling unit as he has been doing this without hassles.
At the polling units, PDP polled an aggregate score of 61 votes for the Senate candidate (Bisi Ilaka), while All Progressives Congress polled 26 vote and Accord Party polled 40 votes.
Also, Olayemi of PDP polled 55 votes, while APC candidate polled 24 votes,ACCORD PARTY polled 44 votes in the Egbeda/OnaAra House of Representative race.
The results showed that many of the registered voters at the polling units did not turn up to participate in the presidential/national assembly election as expected.
