The build-up to the 2026 local government elections in Egbeda is gathering momentum as Engr. Lawal Ibrahim Ademola Aare has officially declared his intention to contest for the Councillorship seat in Ward 7 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The declaration came during a strategic visit to the Ward 7 PDP Executives, led by Pastor Oladele Samson, who doubles as the Chairman of Chairmen of the PDP in Egbeda Local Government.

Addressing party leaders and members, Engr. Lawal highlighted his commitment to effective grassroots representation, inclusive governance, and sustainable development. He stated that his ambition is rooted in a genuine desire to serve and uplift the people of Ward 7.
