As Olugbon of Orile Igbon on Saturday June 17th, 2023 hosts dignitaries from all walks of life in the ancient town of Ile Igbon, Oyo state for his 60th birthday celebration, 6th year anniversary of being on the throne as well unveiling of the multi-million naira palace.
The monarch has conferred a new chieftaincy title on Oyo State Governor Engineer Dsc GSSRS KJW Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde FNSE, Otunba Joseph Adeseye Famojuro and other highly respected personalities with chieftaincy title.
The Convener of OOSE SEYI MOVEMENT VOLUNTEERS (OSM) , Honourable Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez Popularly known as Ijoba Authority MOE’ has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and Otunba Joseph Adeseye Famojuro on their installation as Aare of Orile Igbon and Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile Igbon land.
Accordingly to MOE congratulatory message made available to journalists in Ibadan said the prestigious chieftaincy title bestowed on Governor Makinde and Otunba Famojuro is well deserved.
“I am sure that this prestigious title on His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde and Otunba Adeseye will bring the much needed development to the ancient town of Orile Igbon under Oba Francis Alao whose reign has been monumental, productive, and also encourage sons and daughters of the land to support Kabiyesi to become the fastest growing and developing town among others.”
Also, among other impactful actors honored were, Dr. Tijani Babatunde Olori Ebi ( Double T), Hon. Akinwale Akinwole Solomon (Wolekanle) former Oyo North Senatorial District Candidate, Otun Bobajiro Orile Igbon and Bashorun Amuludun Orile Igbon Kingdom respectively.
