BREAKING: CDCFIB Finally Announces Next Stage For Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, which includes physical screening and document verification for shortlisted applicants.
The Board, in a statement issued on Saturday by its Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), said applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 should visit the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to verify their status.
According to the statement, applicants are required to log into the recruitment portal using the application number generated during their initial registration.
It explained that successful candidates would be required to upload their credentials and select their preferred dates and venues for the physical screening exercise.
The Board advised applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal to avoid disqualification.
Jibril reiterated that the recruitment process remained entirely free of charge and warned applicants against making payments to individuals or groups claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres or final selection.
“The recruitment process is completely free. No fee should be paid to any individual, agent, group or organisation for any aspect of the exercise,” he said.
The Board also urged members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons purporting to represent the CDCFIB.
It noted that all official information regarding the recruitment exercise would be communicated exclusively through the Board’s recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and regulations.

CDCFIB ANNOUNCES NEXT STAGE OF 2024/2025 RECRUITMENT EXERCISE
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the general public, especially applicants for the 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise, of its plan to move to the next stage of the exercise, which is physical screening and document verification.
Accordingly, applicants who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to access the Board’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday, 15th to Friday, 20th June 2026, to verify their status.
Applicants are required to log in using the Application Number generated at the time of initial registration. If shortlisted, applicants will be required to upload their credentials, select a date and venue of their choice for physical screening. Applicants are advised to carefully follow all instructions outlined on the portal.
The Board wishes to emphasize that the recruitment process is completely FREE. Hence, no FEE should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organization claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection.
The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons claiming to represent the Board. Kindly note that all official updates shall be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal as well as approved official communication channels.
The Board remains committed to ensuring that the exercise is conducted in the most transparent, credible, merit-based and in consonance with extant rules guiding recruitment processes.
