The People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar as reacted to the chant of his name during the official campaign flag off of Oyo State Governor which held on Thurday in Ibadan.
The large audience chanted his name as Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike addressed the crowd.
Wike and the other G5 governors gathered in front of Mapo Hall to campaign for Governor Seyi Makinde’s reelection.
Atiku supporters chanted “Atiku, Atiku, Atiku…” as the Rivers governor urged voters to vote for Makinde and other PDP candidates in the state.
In response, the former Vice President stated that he heard them “loud and clear”.
“I take it warmly as a vote of confidence in me and our great party, @OfficialPDPNig. You proved that my love for the Pace-Setter State over the years is not in vain.
“My promise to you is this: we shall work closely together in the mission to Recover Nigeria”, the politician tweeted.
