BREAKING: Govt Sacks Civil Servant For Fraud
The Bauchi State Government has sacked one of its workers, a Secretarial Assistant with the State Hospitals Management Board for fraud.
The fraud committed by the dismissed officer, Sani Mohammed Tirwun, includes falsification of records, issuance of fake appointment letters, illegal posting of illegal staff, faking of the Board’s Staff Officer’s signature and alteration of posting letter.
Additionally, he was alleged to have collected over N1 million to issue fake appointment letters.
He also allegedly collected N250,000, N200,000 and N150,000 respectively to insert the defrauded persons among the approved posting.
These were disclosed by the Information Officer, Bauchi State Civil Service Commission, Saleh Umar, and made available to journalists on Saturday.
