Oyo PDP Guber Candidate, Hazeem Gbolarumi, BASA Visit Olubadan, Seek Royal Blessing

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, His Excellency Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, and the party’s Oyo South Senatorial District candidate, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, at the historic Olubadan Palace.
The visit was part of their engagements with traditional institutions and key stakeholders across the state as the party and its candidates continue preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the visit, Gbolarumi and BASA sought the royal blessing, prayers and guidance of the revered monarch, while also paying homage to the traditional institution and reaffirming their respect for the cultural heritage and leadership of Ibadanland.

The PDP candidates expressed their commitment to inclusive governance, effective representation and policies that would promote development and improve the wellbeing of residents across Oyo State and the Oyo South Senatorial District.
