BASA Celebrates PFN President Bishop Wale Oke at 70, Hails His Service to God and Humanity
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), has celebrated the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Bishop Wale Oke, who marked his 70th birthday on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, is the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, a position he has held since 2021. He was re-elected in February 2025 for another four-year tenure.
In her birthday message, BASA described the respected cleric as a distinguished servant of God whose life and ministry have continued to make significant contributions to the Christian faith, leadership and the development of society.
She acknowledged Bishop Wale Oke’s decades of service to God and humanity, noting his commitment to spiritual leadership, the promotion of Christian values and his contributions to the growth of the Pentecostal community in Nigeria.
BASA congratulated the PFN President for attaining the milestone age of 70, describing it as a remarkable testimony of God’s grace, preservation and faithfulness.
She prayed for God’s continued strength, wisdom, good health and divine grace for Bishop Wale Oke as he advances in his service to God and humanity.
BASA also wished the PFN President many more years of impactful ministry, greater accomplishments and continued relevance in the service of the Church and the nation.

Bishop Francis Wale Oke is the founder and Presiding Bishop of Sword of the Spirit Ministries and has served as President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria since 2021. He also serves as Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan.
