The Association of Oyo State Tutorial Owners (AOSTO) has announced a compensation bursary award for outstanding Oyo State indigenes who excelled in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to a statement issued by the association, the scholarship initiative is aimed at rewarding academic excellence and supporting brilliant students across the state’s 33 local government areas based on their UTME performance.
The association disclosed that candidates from all 11 local government areas in Ibadan who scored 300 and above are eligible for the bursary. Similarly, candidates from Ogbomoso North, Saki East, Saki West, and Iseyin Local Government Areas must also have obtained a minimum score of 300 to qualify.
AOSTO further stated that candidates from Oyo East, Oyo West, Atiba, Ogbomoso South, Surulere, and Ogo Oluwa Local Government Areas are required to have scored 290 and above to be considered for the award.

For candidates from the Ibarapa axis, including Ibarapa East, Ibarapa North, Ibarapa Central, as well as Atisbo, Orelope, Irepo, Kajola, Iwajowa, and other qualifying local government areas, the minimum qualifying score has been fixed at 280 and above.
