2027: CAN Ibadan South East Branch Pledges Total Support for PDP Reps Candidate, Hon. (Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye (AAA)
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Hon. (Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye (AAA), on Monday, July 20, 2026, held a fruitful meeting with the leadership and members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ibadan South East Branch, where she received their overwhelming endorsement and assurance of support ahead of the general election.
The meeting, which was marked by warm reception and constructive engagement, provided an opportunity for Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye to share her vision for quality representation, inclusive governance, youth and women empowerment, improved education, better healthcare, and sustainable community development across the federal constituency.
Speaking during the meeting, the PDP flag bearer appreciated the Christian body for the opportunity to interact with them, reaffirming her commitment to servant leadership, transparency, and people-centred representation that will positively impact every community within Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East.
In their remarks, leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ibadan South East Branch, commended Hon. Adekanmbi-Akinseye’s humility, competence, and longstanding commitment to community development. They expressed confidence in her capacity to provide effective and responsive representation at the National Assembly.
The Christian body subsequently pledged its total support for her candidacy, assuring her of their prayers, encouragement, and commitment to mobilising support for her victory at the forthcoming election.
Responding to the endorsement, Hon. (Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye thanked the CAN leadership and members for their trust and confidence in her aspiration, promising not to disappoint them if elected.
