Kidnap of Adelabu’s Sister, Children: BASA Sympathises with Family, Calls for Swift Rescue

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), has expressed deep sympathy to former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, following the abduction of his younger sister, Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, and her twin sons in Ibadan.
In a statement on Wednesday, BASA described the incident as disturbing and heartbreaking, praying for the safe return of the victims.
“I received the news with shock and sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with Chief Bayo Adelabu and the entire family during this difficult time. I pray for the safe and unharmed return of Mrs. John-Paul and her children,” BASA said.

She called on the Nigeria Police, DSS, Amotekun Corps, and other security agencies to intensify efforts to secure the immediate rescue of the victims and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

BASA also urged residents to support security agencies with credible information while avoiding the spread of unverified reports that could hinder rescue operations.
