As the Yuletide season of Christmas and the New Year draws near, goodwill and generosity once again took centre stage in Ido Local Government as Engr. Oladimeji Olatilewa Ayinla, fondly called Asiwaju—a committed party man and renowned giver—extended his annual gesture of love to party faithful.
In keeping with his tradition, Engr. Oladimeji Olatilewa distributed bags of rice and cash across wards in Ido Local Government, reaching party executives, loyal members, and grassroots supporters to ensure they celebrate the festive season with joy and dignity. The gesture, widely applauded, reflects his consistent commitment to party unity and community welfare.

Speaking during the distribution, Asiwaju prayed that the Christmas season would usher in peace, goodwill, abundant blessings, and success in the endeavours of beneficiaries and the state at large. He emphasized the importance of sharing, especially at a time when economic realities call for compassion and collective support.
Engr. Oladimeji Olatilewa also used the opportunity to commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for his pragmatic and people-oriented leadership. He praised the governor’s governance style, infrastructural strides, and commitment to inclusive development across the state.
He concluded with prayers for renewed strength, wisdom, and divine guidance for Governor Makinde as he continues to shoulder greater responsibilities in service to the people of Oyo State.
The event once again reaffirmed Asiwaju’s reputation as a grassroots mobiliser and dependable pillar of party progress.
