The Oyo State Government concluded Day Two of the State International Agribusiness Summit 2025 with an inspection tour of the State Agribusiness Transformation Center in Fashola, Oyo, after a series of programmes held at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan.
The Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde described the Summit as a success, expressing the state government’s readiness to implementing the action plans developed across various sectors.
Governor Makinde made this known during the Agribusiness Luncheon held at the State Agribusiness Transformation Center, Fashola, Oyo.
The tour, led by Governor Seyi Makinde, covered key facilities and industries within the centre, including the cashew processing factory, bakery, cold room, greenhouse, milking barn and the Pepper Rite farm.
Following the inspection, the Governor joined other dignitaries at a luncheon held at the Fashola farm.
He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to implementing the action plans developed across various agribusiness sectors.
