The Progressive Tradesmen & Artisans Association of Nigeria (PROTAAN) has announced the forthcoming Summit 5.0, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at Iba Oluyole Hall, Oja-Oba, Ibadan, Oyo State.
This year’s Summit is themed: “Building Confidence Through Skill Acquisition”, reflecting PROTAAN’s continued commitment to empowering artisans and tradesmen with practical knowledge, technical skills, and confidence needed to thrive in Nigeria’s evolving economy.
Speaking on the upcoming event, the Oyo State Chairman of PROTAAN, Comrade Dayo Adebisi Man’D, noted that the Summit would serve as a platform for interaction, capacity building, and networking among artisans, policymakers, and stakeholders in the vocational sector.

“The Summit 5.0 will not only highlight the importance of skill acquisition as a tool for economic development but also inspire our members to take bold steps towards self-reliance, innovation, and national growth,” Comrade Adebisi stated.
The event is expected to draw participants from across Oyo State and beyond, including dignitaries, government representatives, and industry experts who will share insights on advancing the role of artisans and tradesmen in national development.
