EASTER: FG declares 2-Days public holiday
The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, as public holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the announcement on behalf of the Federal Government.
In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Tunji-Ojo emphasized the importance of embodying the virtues of sacrifice and love displayed by Jesus Christ, who died for the redemption of humanity. He also urged Nigerians to utilize the holiday period to pray for the peace, unity, and stability of the nation.
