The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) Oyo State Chapter has called on youths in Oyo State and Nigeria at large to make February a productive month by investing in self-improvement, skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship.
In a press statement signed by the group’s Chairman in Oyo State, Comrade Abdulfatai Adeyemi-LEGACY, and made available to newsmen today by Egalitarian Segun O. Akinlabi, Director of Media and Publicity, Oyo State NYC, the organization urged youths to take advantage of the fresh start offered by the new month to focus on personal development and economic empowerment.
“In this month of February, I urge all youths in Oyo State to invest in self-improvement, acquire new skills that can boost their employability or entrepreneurial pursuits, and explore opportunities to start their own businesses or side hustles,” Comrade Adeyemi-LEGACY said.
“We must recognize the importance of innovation, creativity, and hard work in achieving our goals. We must also acknowledge the role of teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship in driving success.”
The statement emphasized the importance of skill acquisition and entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and reducing unemployment among youths in Nigeria.
The NYC Oyo State Chapter has pledged to support youths in the state through various initiatives and programs that promote skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
