In a bid to improve the lives of citizens in Ona-Ara Local Government, the Deputy Speaker of Oyo State, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Muhammed Fadeyi, has commenced the installation of solar lights across various communities in the area. The project, tagged ‘OjuAwo Light-Up Ona-Ara Community Project’, is designed to provide a sustainable and reliable source of lighting to residents, enhancing their safety, security, and overall quality of life.
According to a press statement signed by Hon. Abiodun Muhammed Fadeyi’s media aide, Mr. Jubril Abiola (Mandela), the installation process began on December 19, 2024, and will be implemented in batches until all communities in the local government are covered. The initial phase of the project will focus on the area between Iyana Tioya and Transformer, with plans to extend to Orita-Merin Junction in the near future.
