….Education Commissioner commends Governor for fulfilling promise
Successful applicants in the recently conducted teachers’ recruitment exercise in Osun State have begun to recieve notification message from the State’s Ministry of Education informing them of their appointment into the state’s teaching service for SUBEB and TESCOM and civil service for Education officers.
This is just as the State’s Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole commended the state Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for keeping to his promise of recruiting only the best teachers to teach in Osun public schools.
The Commissioner in a thank you message to the Governor as well a congratulatory message to the newly recruited teachers said the Governor has indeed demonstrated that the delivery of quality education to pupils in Osun public schools is paramount to the future of the state.
He commended the Governor for allowing what he described as a very rigorous screening process in the selection of best qualified applicants to teach in our schools.
The Commissioner added that the selection process which was done purely on merit has again demonstrated the Governor’s open and transparent style of governance and the fact that government wants only the best teachers to teach pupils in public schools.
Honorable Dipo Eluwole through the statement stressed that the recruitment which is inclusive of both degree and NCE holders have been adjuged by reknown education stakeholders as very thorough and rigorous and it’s capable of forming the backbone of Osun education sector for the foreseeable future.
The statement concludes that the newly recruited teachers will not be thrown straight into the classroom but will be made to go through a comprehensive and intensive training exercise to prepare them mentally, emotional and physically for the task ahead come January, 2025.

“We have carefully selected the best from both the NCE and degree holders that applied and the exercise was really rigorous and thorough”. The Commissioner stated while at the same time appreciate the patience of the general public in the long time taking recruitment process/exercise and wish the successful applicants a happy discharge of duty in their new career engagement.
